IDA Systems

We are currently experimenting with a CompuLab X270em board for the base of this device. Hardware specs are not final. The current minimum are expectations are:

• 4 and 11 inch touch screens (VGA AND SVGA)
  
• Physical and/or virtual keyboard
• Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, WiMAX
• 8GB Flash or 20 GB disk storage, 512MB RAM
  
• OpenGL 3D support
• Powered USB, serial port , camera, head phone jack, speakers, microphone, bluetooth etc.

For software we are looking at Angstrom Linux and Ubuntu Mobile

Demo pieces are expected to be ready December 2008.
